Looking for the biggest bass/best 6x9's

After installing my new Pioneer head unit I think I will be happy with just upgrading the factory Honda speakers with better units. I have pretty good bass now but want to get the most out of the 6x9 in the deck of my 4-door Civic. Who makes them? I plan on replacing the 6.5" door speakers with CDT or DLS Iridiums to complement the rears. Will my Kicker 800.4 amp be enough to all these and does it match up well or do I need something different? TIA

All I have is the 6.5" component set in the doors if I don't replace the 6x9's. I decided not to put a box in the trunk. In the time I have had the car I have found the trunk space too valuable! I don't feel like taking the box out or doing some crazy custom piece. I am really impressed with how the factory Honda 6x9's sound off the Pioneer head unit. Sounds like 80% of what my S-10 does with MB Quart, CDT and Image Dynamics stuff. I just need a little more punch from the rears to suit me. I went back in the archives and saw someone suggested these:

The look like a meaty piece that by design would thump some bass. With the DLS Iridiums in the front it should sound pretty good. Think the 800.4 amp will do it?

The others I saw mention of were Infiniti Kappas, Boston Acoustics, Pioneer, CDT and Cerwin Vega. Out of all of those I can listen to about three in my area.

Ever thought about doing 8's IB in the rear 6x9 slots? Not hard at all....just make a baffle to hold the 8's under the 6x9 openings, get some tape or something and seal off all the other openings so that the trunk is sealed. That IMO would be a better option than using 6x9's for bass.

But, if 6x9's are a must, Kicker used to make some 6x9 subs, Tang Band currently does aswell.

Thanks for your help. Do you have any links to those? I was trying to stay totally simple with the Civic since it is a commuter and to haul my daughter, her stuff and her friends around. I didn't want to fool with having to run a second amp, space for it and taxing my electrical system more than I had to. Just looking for a single amp install without all the hassle of modding.

It says they are 8 Ohm. Will that make a huge difference? Yeah, I am not familiar with those brands. I wonder if some of the other known brands has a version of 6x9 sub?
