Looking for suggestions for new system in a '99 Explorer

I am purchasing a '99 Explorer 2 Door later this week and am planning on replacing all the audio equipment that is currently in it. I also plan on putting a carputer with a 64GB SSD in it that I have laying around the house. I am going to mp3car for help with the carputer, but wanted to come here for help with the actual audio equipment.

Here are the specs I got from online car stereo:

Car Deck Size - CORPORATE DOUBLE DIN

Front Speaker 6X8 2.5

Rear Speaker 6X8 3

Subwoofer 8 4

I plan on getting a single din HU, and then a single din flip out screen for the carputer. Unless anyone knows of any double din HU with VGA inputs that aren't incredibly expensive.

I listen to mostly hiphop and rock. I want mostly sound quality with some bass. I want to be able to turn the subwoofer down and have softer bass, but then also turn it up if I want to. Any suggestions for speakers?

I don't want to spend more than $1,200 unless it is highly suggested.

I like This HU. Are there any alpine head units with dvd and video out abilities? I want a single din, and want to be able to just put a dvd in the hu to be able to play it on the carputer, but if that isn't able to be done that is fine and I can just put the dvd in under the seat.

I also like the Fi Subwoofers, so maybe 1 or 2 12s or 1 15. Not sure what model to go with. I have heard great things about the Fi.Q

I'm not really looking for a huge box. I just want good sounds quality.
