If you have the CVRs in a prefab box. Why not save alot of money and build a ported box? They will really come alive if you get them in a ported box.

Tune it in the low 30s

Maybe CVR 15's ??? i'm willing to get another amp also that why my budget is what it is because i may want to get a another amp aslo

you could build, or have a better box build, that would make those CVR's shine. like i said, a direct drop in wont net you as much as a rebuild.

I have two CVR 15s and theyre awesome. You would like them.

maybe a diff box and a D class amp would do it for you, same subs

Well see one of my CVR's makes this noise that really makes me heated!! Its like when it get real excursion it make a noise like the sub is hitting something?? Its not my amp clipping either. You can't hear it unless you open my trunk and turn the volume up. The other CVR is perfect but I'm just wanting something else i guess or maybe a third one that would be sick but i dont know i have also seen the 02 L5's one sale for like 207 a pair at Soniceletronix, They are also refurbs.

maybe your ears are used to the loudness of the bass the subs you have produce and you just want louder, give your ears a month break like i did when i had no subs then listen to em again and you'll be like 'holy shit that is loud and sounds sweet!" then your ears will get used to it very quickly. so give your ears a break from sub bass like i do sumtimes. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Pull out the one CVR that is making the noise and make sure all the tencil leads are intact. I broke one of the leads on one of my old CVR 12s and you could hear it when it would really get to high excursion

i'm not sure what that is could you help me find it(like show a pic or something) cause i taken it out before and looked at everything didn't see anything but maybe i missed it? I've heard this alot with the CVR 12s

thanks i'll check that later I now know for sure that i'm going to get a different amp a Class D that puts out 1000 rms at 4ohms more at other ohms that way i could upgrade later.
