Looking for some help on an amp

So my amp just recently blew, and I don't know the first thing about them, was looking for some help on an amp to buy. I need it to power 2 12" 4 ohm Kicker CompVR's, anything helps..

Look for an amp that does the power you need at 1 ohm or 4ohms... all you need is 800w rms total for both subs.

Both wrong. 3 subs s4 coils. Equates to 2 ohms. So depending on which comp vr subs you got will depend on the amp you need. Older versions are 150-200 rms and the newer ones I think are now 400 rms

Your subs are d4 subs. So you need a 1 ohm stable amp. That's 1000 watts or better

I don't really have a budget for it, but I'm also not trying to spend a ton of money. Not sure if that helps..
