lmao. I use, love, defend, and recommend the Vifa XT/Type X comps, but that was funnay!

No, no. Not like Ben Milne at all. Alpine at least PAID Vifa to engineer these for them under license. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif ZING!

now that's a kickindanads! hehe

See I'm torn hear b.c I can get type x, jl xrs, and the diamond d6s for the following pirces:

Alpine: 6.5 Comps front and back with a Alpine 75x4w amp for $641

Jl: 6.5 Comps front and Coax for the back with the same Alpine amp for $632

Diamond: 6.5 Comps front and coax for the rear with a Phoenix Gold X100.4 for $532

While popular opinion leads me to the Type Xs, my wallet leads me to the D6s. It really makes me mad that Alpine doesn't make Type X coaxs b.c. that would bring the Alpine systems price down a considerable amount.

Well, there's no reason to use a speaker that good for rear fill. Just use the Alpine Type-Rs for rear fill.

I personally wouldn't even bother with the rearfill. I'd just keep the stock stuff and power them from the head unit. But if you're generous to your passengers, or want the rearfill anyway, just get the Type-Rs for that duty. They're more than good enough.

No, you'll just have to be careful setting gains. You can put a 10,000 watt amp on a 2 watt speaker and it'll be fine if you set the gains right. Because an amp puts out 75 watts doesnt mean it HAS to. Just set the gains down. If you fade mostly to the front, they'll probably never see more than a few watts anyway.
