Looking for some 8-6.5" mid bass/ subs

I am wanting a pair of 8" speakers to mount in my center console. I am using them as dedicated subs/ mid bass for when my subs are off. They will be in a sealed maybe ported box if I have room. Not looking to spend a whole lot on a pair. May even go down to a 6.5" if they a good. Just looking for some strong bass when my girl is in the tahoe with me, she says the 21's are too loud to enjoy. Oh power, um my 6.4 can do tri mode and I have two channels that will do 300 @ 4 ohms. So I can do 4 low powered 8 ohm speakers or two 4 ohm.

Can't do that! She is too good to me, puts up with alot of my ****, and never asks for a single thing!

I only have two 21" death penalties, and I have the new 40.1 on a toggle switch so I can just cut them off.

Use a bass knob so you can just turn them down.

Else you could try the Aurasound NS8 from Madisound... Thing about the Aurasound NS series is that people seem to not like the small ones much, but everyone LOVES the 10"+s. I haven't heard much about the 8". They're on sale for $20/ea + shipping there.

My amp does not have a place for a bass knob.

You don't need the amp to support it. You can get subwoofer controls that you just hook RCAs up to. It'd go deck -> level control -> amp.

I'm using these T3-8 4ohm as m9idbass off of a JL 500/1.

i have played with them in a sealed box .2 cubit feet & these subs have a really good tonality without cone break up.

I have played 125 per sub up 500 per sub.

My kicks are .2 vented, these subs have a really cone control.

I know many people hate on T3 for what they have done in the past, which i dont care about.

This Sub can go IB-Ported -Sealed.

RMS 200-Peak 400

I really like the impact that i feel in my chest from just using them as midbass only.

Yes they can dig deep & i play anything from Hip-Hop to rock -& these subs for the money are hard to beat.

You can also look into Peerless-Tangband-Aurum Cantus-JBL-Dayton-SB Acoustics-ScanSpeak-Aura-etc.... there many choices to choose from.
