Hello everyone,
i ended up blowing one of my factory speakers awhile ago and i decided to replace it with some 6.5 components i had laying around. At the time i made it out of some 1/8 inch wood laying around. it didn't work out too well and was rattling badly once the speaker was broken in. So a couple days ago i remade it out of 1/2" mdf. The baffle no longer rattles. but now the plastic piece from factory rattles around a lot. Do you all have any suggestions the plastic piece is kinda loose against the metal frame, my idea was to just run silicone all the way around the piece.
