looking for slimmest 6 1/2" speaker

anyone have any suggestions for a slim 6.50" door spearker? I have a toyota landcruiser and there is little room in the door for a deep speaker...

Seems those wanting to retain the factory speaker grill in a late model LC80 need that magic combination of a 6 1/2" speaker with no more than a 1 1/2" top mount depth - I checked and all thirty-six 6 1/2" speakers on Crutchfield do not meet this requirement.

Looking for 2 way or 3 way.

Running on Pioneer AVIC D2 head unit.. no amp...

Try an Exile car audio XP65. They have a very slim mount design. They use neo magnets to lessen the mounting depth. The XPs have a good sound also. They love power though.

That set looks good. The Critical Mass RS6 or the 652 comp set will also work for you.

I think we were all assuming that suggestions would be limited to speakers one might actually want to listen to.
