If you did 8's I have a pair 85 shipped Morel mids that are only 2.75" deep and can handle power, also reach high enough to do a 2way. Pm if interested. Ignore if not.

Mach5 MLI mids or AA carbon fibers if you have more to spend. I run the CF's and love them. Plenty of midbass with the HPF set to 63Hz...

Any one know where there is something that lays out active setups and how to set it up.. I would like to try it..

My ID OEMs have very nice midbass. I'm running them without any high pass filter and they never bottom out with ~100 watts going to them. A pair in each door would be very nice...affordable too.

can you just add a 6.5 woofer to a comp set instead of the 6.5 woofer that the comp set came with?

How low can you cross over at?

Are you running 2-way or 3-way, what tweeters?

If you can cross low, SLS's are good and cheap.
