stupid question but i need to ask it...

i have the factory boston stereo in my 300c. can i switch out all the speakers for upgraded bostons with no issues? or do i have to do something else to the setup? i am looking to put in a new headunit soon, but im not so sure about the actual speaker/ factory amp wiring stuff

why not just get good speakers? and what kind of issues are you worried about?

you wont have to worry about the amp unless you want a aftermark one in there. the wiring will not be a problem at all, its alot like hooking up regular speaker cable.

some can sound great off oem power like some speakers say like 40 or 50 watts rms.....thats your best bet.

If you want to power them with the factory amp, go for some lower-level components that have lower power ratings to squeeze the most out of them.
