Looking for loud mids

Why wouldnt 3 sets of comps get louder. I have one set right now with 350rms going to the set. If i added 2 more sets or even one more set and put another 350rms to that set giving me two sets of comps and 700rms going to the comps why wouldnt it get any louder?

I am adding cone area and power?

What one set can keep up with 4 15's and 5k watts? DAILY?

higher frequencies are more sensative to cancellation. I've never understood people who say PA mids sound like crap and then throw 4 sets of componetns into a car at various angles and then think that sounds good. The phase anamolies caused by that are WAYY worse. Anyway lots of top SQ cars have used PA mids in one way or another. I know thats not your goal, but to say a high effeciency mid can't get loud and sound good is just wrong. IDK if you put up a budget or not. If you want an all in one solution I'd try a coax like the 8CX400F by 18sounds. Simply find a spot to put the eight, set crossover points and your done.
