Multiple tweeter hookup?

I'm trying to find out if tweeters that come with external crossovers drop impedence the same as a regular speaker. I'm trying to add more tweeters on an amp, but I don't want to run it below the minimum load and run the amp hot. Someone told me that it would not drop the ohm nowhere as much as a regular speaker. Is this true?

How will that change the crossover point? Are you saying it will change the crossover point for the speakers already hooked up? I might do 4 extra tweeters. I have an extra 4ch amp laying around. I might just hook them up to that.

Whats the deal with people wanting to run multiple tweets these days? Multiple sources playing the same frequencies wreck any sense of imaging & create comb filters that'll make loud volumes unpleasant.

Are you running "extra tweets" in addition to full range/coax speakers? If so, don't do it.
Get a componet set and power them off your amp. Just adding tweets will sound like shit.
No, I run component sets. I have to buy some more components anyway because I think I smoked one of the crossovers. It started smelling real bad, but still works. If you put it up to your nose you can still smell it when its completely cold. This just happened last night.
