looking for help on upgrading/speaker recommendations

i have a harley street glide, i currently have a kenwood x998 HU, hertz hcx 165 in the front and hcx 690 in the saddlebag lids running off a sound stream picasso nano amp 100x4.

Im looking to upgrade to a louder system. i was thinking some 6.5 components in the front with 8" midrange in the lids and some 6x9's in the bags. everybody i know run hertz , vocals, jl's, or rockford fosgate. I would like something loud with good sq. but i want to try to stay away from what everybody else is running.

For the front was thinking: 6.5 components

I have heard a fosgate system (don't know what speakers) and i liked it. but that was at a standstill.

my budget is around a grand or 2. with speakers and amps

You want different but you are looking at low end.

Look at the Digital Designs VO line if you have a dealer since they are brick and mortar only.

ok so i looked into the dd's. i am thinking about putting 6.5 midrange and tweets in the front fairing and 8" in the lids. what do you guys think of these:

hertz spl 6.5 and 8" mids st33 for tweets

DD vo 6.5 and 8" mids vo-b1 or b2

sundown neopro v2 6.5 and 8" mids

dynaudio Esotec MW 6.5 and 8" mids md130 tweets

or shoot me some ideas for a sql system
