Looking for h/o alt for 2006 stratus

Asked machman, and dc power they don't make alts for my car stinger quoted me $600 for a 270amp alt but that's kinda pricey. Anyone have advice where else to look? Don't want to buy some crap that will die on me after a few months and leave me dead in the water.
