looking for good/great sq speakers ?

hi guys,

well its time to start looking around for some nice sq type of speakers for my 3-way front stage.

my system is loud and does sound good but i know it can sound alot better.

so want to do a stelth setup and not have 8 tweeters, 4 6.5 and 4 8" .

but it needs to be clear and loud as it needs to keep up with 4- 12" subs.

as for price....

well the cheaper the better.

cant afford 3-400 for a set of speakers.

so keep that in mind.

if you wanted great sq and needed to keep it as cheap as possible what would you get?

links would be nice.

also what sizes should i be looking for ?

was size and type of tweeters?

what size mids ? 3" or 4" ?

want to put the tweeters and mids on a-pillar panels.

should i point them at me or ??

and the mid-bass on the doors.

so sould i get 6.5 ? or 8"

i dont care as long as it sounds great.

sorry guys, i just dont know what will sound good on my budget.

was looking on youtub and heard a system and he was using the vifa xt25 tweeters and sounded good.

what do you think abou them?

o and just so you know as im sure some will say it all in the install...

well my doors are sealed and deaden.

the only thing i need for them is some mlv for between the panels and door. other then that they are done.

you won't get our idea of high out put at that price point.

I was going to say JL C5s but they are a bit higher.

How far down this rabbit hole do you want to go.

Loud and clear for cheap - go with pro audio drivers. For a 3-way, I'd go with just raw drivers. If you set it up right, you should be able to get loud enough just with sheer cone area and there is less strain for each driver. You should also get rear fill for added output.

As far as stealth...do you have factory locations for a 3-way setup?
