Looking for an amp that is stable bridged at 2 ohms

GREAT Answer! In my quest for audio equipment, which is something I enjoy doing, I completely forgot the obvious!! I will do as you you have suggested.

How about the Alpine MRP-500 for my sub amp? Quite a while back I looked at this amp and wondered about it. How do you think it will perform? All reviews I read were positive.

Cost 169.00 + bass knob 28.00 = 197.00. More than likely a better setup than I was proposing at a lower cost.

I thought those were dyn's! I had them custom installed about 15 years ago in a VW GTI. Door speaker looked smaller than yours (6.75 or something like that, maybe 7"), with a tweeter molded into the kicks like yours. Just the tweeter in the kicks, but you have 2 drivers there. That was my best system ever, back when I had good money to burn, lol. It was a tri-amped system, two 3 rf amps (punch 75, 2x200.2), dyn's up front, eclipse in the rear, and the awesome 12" ppi flat piston sub, which I wish I still had! Great system I thought. Also, alpine hu, and 1 phoenix gold xover, and 1 audiocontrol eq (forget model, eql I believe). Gosh, I miss that car.
