Looking for Alternator Installation pointers

This'll be my first time swapping in an HO alternator, so im just looking for pointers.

So far, the alternator will be grounded to the frame with 1/0. The big 3 is already done, but if i have enough extra ring terminals, i plan to redo that as well (after my amps are all installed)

anyone got any pointers? this seems pretty straight forward, like a 10 minute job, but i just wanna double check.

it might take a little longer then 10 min. some times the bolts dont come right out like u would like..

just dont forget that you have big three wiring and stock wiring to worry my freind unhooked his big three and then forgot that stock pos was still hooked up, bad idea, its pretty easy if you can get at your alt and just watch your wiring,

meh, my truck is pretty new and is babied, so the engine compartment is **** clean. Plus, the alternator is right on top, so it shouldnt be much of a hassle //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

If you’re new alternator is the same stock style case, should be easy

If you have a new larger case, that’s when it gets tricky; they never just bolt in.

if you have a smaller pulley you may need to resize the belt.
