Typically that is an enclosure and/or settings issue.

any Quality sub will get low. The enclosure has a big part of it. you cant buy ~$400 sub and throw it in a prefab box and expect it to perform

there are plenty of shops that do custom boxes if you send them the specs for your sub and enclosure height/width you're looking for to maximize airspace and still look good

2005 RE XXX 15" reconed with FI parts... if you want the lows and sound good, you aint gonna find much better.

FS of around 28? tune it to 30 and put in it 4.5 cubes. itll do exactly that. $300 shipped and ill even design you the box.

Im at about 36hz right now on paper and goes down in the low 20s nicely. I think i did almost a 140@19hz

If you just have a normal ported box tuned at 38hz, thats probably why it doesnt play the part of the song you want it to.

Don't murder the lows! I like the lows!

The vehicle also makes a difference. Some vehicles sound louder at lower frequencies than others. It can be frustrating when switching vehicles because you're used to a certain resonant frequency.

well, shit, man you are tuned to 38 hz, and probably peaking around 50hz with what?...F3 of 28hz? Just a guess...you have a lot of sub there to work with, if you get the box right.

You just need the right box, dude....what power you got?
