I want to replace the crappy, low end, Kenwood 5x7 spks. I installed in my 97 Ford Ranger last year to get rid of a blown speaker. I would realy like to get a driver and tweeter mounted on a plate together w/ the x-over already wired in like I have seen before, but I have no idea how it would sound. I don't really have anywhere I can go to hear spk. setups as I live in a very small town. My main concern is ease in installation and great SQ. Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA.

You nailed it! Thats the exact ones I was talking about when I said I wanted the driver, tweeter, and x-over mounted together. Does anyone know how they sound? I figure it won't be as good as a good set of components mounted properly, but maybe if I deaden and seal my doors it will be close.

Has anyone got any experience w/ these spks.?

Anybody know the cheapest place to get a set? I see them on E-Bay for $205 after shipping charges, can somewhere beat that? TIA.
