does anyone use a middbass?

For pure midbass only? The 6.5" Tang-Band 'subwoofer' works quite well in a car door up to around 200 Hz. If you need to go any higher than that it's not going to cut it for you, it's a very economical choice for a powerful midbass-only driver, though.

 
That was sarcasm, a joke. It is obvious that just about everyone here uses a midbass woofer. I guess you didn't catch that.
