I also have a DEH-8600MP...(non premier)works fine except for 2 things:

Face wont go all the way down

Its missing one knob.

You can get it fixed for about $50

This is NOT the one i bought from Vitveet...his Unit had the face stuck open...mine closes but wont open all the way.

its the exact same unit....the only difference is the 4v and 6v pre outs. you can switch faceplates and it will work.
