Looking for a New Sub

So, I need some help from some people who have had experience with some different subs. Right now I have Paradigm Monitor series and am looking to add a sub. I was looking at just adding a Paradigm sub, but then I started looking at the Dayton Subwoofers on partsexpress. Im looking at spending about 300-350. What sub would be the best bang for my buck? I mainly want it for movies, not much music, and gaming.

How much room do you have?

I'm personally going to go with a Tempest-X with a 550watt plate amp in a 10ft^3 enclosure @ 17hz, here in the next couple of weeks.

Better for the money than anything available commerically.

I sell nothing but Martin Logan Subwoofers. The Depth and Descent are freakin monsters. I love the fact that if you stick a nickel on top of enclosure and blast the sub the nickel wont fall over.

But then again they arent really budget oriented subs at all.

They are nice, but you could build something just as good for a lot less. But I have seen a couple of their subs and they're pretty nice.

Another sub that fits the bill is the CSS SDX15.

I just got mine a couple of weeks ago and have been really happy with it. XBL^2 for $280US shipped, pretty good bang for the buck IMO.

Was the budget 300 for sub and amp, or you already have an amp?

But if you are going DIY tempest is a solid woofer but requires a large box. I have dual 275L sonotubes on an ep2500.
