Looking for a new sub. Need help!

10W3V3-4 - JL Audio 10" 500 Watt 4 Ohm SubwooferI knew the kicker sub wasnt anything special. Would this jl sub be a good fit for my amp? I care more about quality but id like to have a bit of loudness. Should I go with a 12' or 10'? Sorry for all the questions im just tryna get wat this amp can handle then eventually get a new one.

- That JL sub would do fine.

- Once again, if you want a little more volume, it wouldn't be a bad idea to buy a bigger sub.

If I were you, I'd probably get a pair of those 10" Arc subs I linked earlier...

How much output do you expect from a single Kicker CVR if you don't mind me asking? They are entry level subwoofers, ya know.
- If you get a single sub, you'll need a 2 ohm dvc or 4 ohm svc driver in order to obtain a 4 ohm load.

- If I was going to use only 1 sub, and cared about loudness, I'd probably buy the biggest sub I could fit into my vehicle.

- Any sub you buy will perform better if you have an enclosure built to it's recommended specifications.

What you do you mean by "entry level"? Does that mean they are the basic level subs the company makes? What would the Kicker Comps be then? Not being a smart allec I'm just curious by about the definition.

We're talking about a driver that can be had, bnib, for less than $60 (10" model). That screams entry level to me...

also if your addiment to buy a 10 inch or 12 inch sub a sundown sub is a much better sub imho
