Looking for a Musical Subwoofer

The 6.5" woofer in that set IS the midbass and midrange driver. And yes, they should be able to play just fine down to 100hz, if not lower.
How are you gains set? What type of EQing have you done? Settings on the headunit? Amps?

Ughh, doesn't matter. I just went out to my car , re-adjusted the highpass at 100hz and it sounds completely fine, I have no idea how I got it into my head that my mid's were distorting before... but whatever. It doesn't matter, thanks for your help guys.

How about PG RSd 12"?

It can take 1000W with no problem and it blends very well with my type x comp.
