I am sorta out of car audio, and im looking for something for my 2009 pontiac G8 GT that doesnt weigh a whole lot.

Im thinkin prefab 12'' box + w3 + alpine mrd500, that puts me around 450.00..can anyone reccomend anything up to 600.00 that will sound good and not weigh me down a whole lot?

Use a birch wood box, its lighter then mdf, never actually weighed but id say 1/3-1/2 less weight..

Or go fiberglass, save weight and space, but lose money lol
