Looking for a job for these hours...

I can only work between about 5am at the earliest to 12pm. I am going to tech school to become a bmw technician. I have done a lot of different jobs.

Building maitenence, pool maitenence, sales, lot attedent, greeter/porter, customer service.

I am only 18 however and I am in need of job that brings atleast 2k a month after tax... Give or take..

Any reccomendations?

I work at a golf course as a greenskeeper. We start at 6 and the bosses are really cool about leaving whenever to go to school, because mornings are really the only busy part of the day. It really doesn't take much skill at all and its pretty much a zero stress job. If you live somewhere warm im sure courses will be open year round, but in pa we close in november and I get to go on unemployment lol.

So you can only work 35 hours a week (figuring 7 hours x 5days), unless you want to work weekends... and bring HOME $2k/month, so you need to MAKE closer to $3k to do that (~30% taxes is actually pretty low in that bracket)...

So... even if you pulled 40 hours a week, you'll need to make at least $18/hr to pull in that kind of money. And that's a low estimate on taxes, I'd guess more, probably.

18 years old with no real 'skills'. Good luck.

So you have the basic skills of a border jumping messican and you are looking to make $18/hr? interesting.

Also I am guessing this high paying job must not have many spelling requirements also correct?

only 14 dollars an hr/40 hr week...he would be able to do 2k a month..but thats makin minium wage too well here it is..

IF you worked 5-12 5 days a week, getting 35 hours you would need a job making atleast 16-17.00 an hour, if you want 2k a month. 17.00 x 40 hours = 680 per week x 4 weeks = 2720.00 a month. before taxes. good luck. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

if you can take a loan you should look into a bread route. start at 5, youll be done before 12, then after you graduate and theres some equity in it hire someone and just collect from that while you work for BMW

Find a warehouse job that offers overtime. Work 5 days a week as much as you can and some weekends. You might get close.

Just to give you an idea of what this is equivalent to, my best friend is a teacher with a 4-yr degree and 10 years experience and is making about this much money. I never made this much money working as a paramedic, my highest yearly income was about $33k, and that was pulling many 100+ hour weeks. To be a paramedic is now a 2-year degree in most places, and they still aren't going to make near this much until they've been there a few years. An RN (2-4 yr degree) can usually beat this easily, but LPNs/LVNs (usually 1 year of tech school) often don't make this much money in the hospital, especially if working in a doctor's office, etc. X-ray technicians (usually a 2-year program) can make about this or a bit more).
