Looking into buying 2 4 awg kits. Anyone out there with the kits to create a good deal?

One kit to my Phoenix Gold Zx475ti 4 channel amp to the speakers.

Other kit for my Kenwood 1000w mono amp to my 15" Cerwin Vega VMAX-15DVC

Will 4 awg kit work well? or should i stick with 8awg kits? Because atm with the 8awg kit on my amped speakers my lights start to slightly dimm in times. What do you guys suggest?

Or

should i just stick with the 8awg kit on both amps and just upgrade with the BIG 3!!!??

Thanks everyone!

The PG amp should be fine on an 8 guage wire, but that Kenwood should be upgraded to at least 4 guage, you should run a distro block with 1/0 guage from battery to the block, then 8 guage or 4 out to the PG and 4 guage to the Kenwood.

And if you have any dimming, then do the Big Three. You dont need it if your electrical system handles the amps without upgrading.

I am currently not too familiar with a distro block. May i ask on what it is, what it does, and how much they cost around?

So when running 2 amps i can still mix it by having one amp on 4 gauge and then the other amp on 8? interesting...

Well this doesnt go in the section, but here is the info you need.

Distro block is used to split power, distribute power, etc.

example: 1 0/1 guage in 3 4 guage out. That means you have 1 0/1 guage power wire from the battery coming into the block and its being split into 3 4 guage outputs to run 3 amps.

For your case you can get 1 with 0/1 guage in and a 8 guge out and 4 guage out which will be kinda tough to find, but your best bet is to just get 2 4outs and run the pg on 4 guage.

They vary in cost, because you can get digital and fused blocks which are a huge help when looking for a fuse problem.

Anything else feel free to pm me on this subject.
