Looking for a battery...

I need a battery that'll fit in the original 95 Grand Cherokee Laredo battery holder and under my hood. I have my big III ran but it's ran so that theres no loose wire so I was going to get the KHC1400 for $170 (I dont want to spend more then that 170, 150 is at the least.) but all the ones I see are Reverse posts plus it needs to double as my starter I was looking at an Optima YellowTop but Iheard some bad things about them and it's only about 1100amps while the 1400 is 1400amps. I'm going to be running about 1200-1400rms off my DC 1.2K.

So basically $170 it has to be new and from a credible site. It's basically a christmas present so it has to be that price new... I'm not looking for some powerhouse just a good starter/deep cycle for my jeeps oem slot. Cant be reverse terminals because my big 3 wont reach if it has to be reverse.

Also if it can be bought on EBAY or AMAZON that would help a lot since I'm **** about using my credit card on a ton of sites.

i have a sprinter s12v285f batt that i havnt posted for sale. only a year old and has 10 year lifespan. google it. its stronger than a yellow top and keeps up with a kinetik 2000. it is better than the little 1400 though. 150 shipped to you. pm me if your interested

Guys they have to be new from a vendor meaning has to be sold online through a site like amazon or ebay... It's stricktly a christmas thing cannot buy used or off of anyother person just saying in the $!70 price range what should I get? Are there any 1400's that ARENT reverse post?

Like I said not looking for anything special just a solid starter for winter and a solid deep cycle for my 1200w system mostly trying to prevent light dimming and to keep my system in the 13-14v range longer while driving. I need this all within $170 and online like I said the Yellow Top was my first choice but I heard the Kenetic was better and it had more amps but is reverse mount and all that, so if there were non-reverse KHC1400's I'd buy one haha. Are XS,Kenetik and Yellowtop good starters?

Is it a present to someone?? People be to scary these days about buying used I mean If a mans got good feedback and you use paypal (no gift) then what do u have to lose?? I always like more for less maybe its just me.

haha I know about paypal etc. It just has to be that way no changing it... Unless I can get it at Walmart, NAPA, Amazon, Ebay or SonixElectronics etc. I cannot buy it. It just needs to be sorry guys... Any suggestions?

Wait could I use a KHC1400 in my Jeep? like does the reverse thing matter says good for Export Cars... If it can work in my jeep I'll get that, the Yellow Top seems WEAK compared to it in the price range. If I could snag a good 1000a yellow top for under $200 that'll fit under my hood I'd get it but at this point I think if the kinetic is fine I'll runt hat. I just need the terminals int he same spot my current batteries are... Postitive on the right negative on the left,I dont have to reverse them or anything right?

I see theres a Reverse Polarity one is that the same one? I'm just so **** confused by if this battety will work in my truck and be a good battery i live in maine so it gets -20 out sometimes.

I'm starting to take Interest to the Shuriken SK-100 but I'm concerned it will not be a good starter. I just need a good starter battery as well as deep cycle, I hear kinetiks sides blow out if you use them as a starter?

What about the XS D1200 better than the KHC1400 for audio/starting? This has to last guys... Remember it gets COLD here -20 sometimes.

Ok I've come to my conclusion it's either going to be the Optima Yellow Top D34/78 or the XS Power D1200 I just can't chance using the Kinetik as a starter and having the walls bloat/melt from heat, I hear they use low grade shielding and casing. The YellowTop D34 has 750 CCA & 120 Reserve while the XS has 725CCA and 80 Reserve why should I pick the XS D1200 over the Yella Top? Also note I'm only running about 1400rms including my 4 channel with a 90a stock alternator. Just trying to replace my Walmart battery and make the lights dim a bit less and keep voltage longer and have a solid starter for winters and heat.

Also how many CCA's is the HC1400? I see it's like 1150 Cranking Amps which is a lot more than the Yellow Top or XS D1200... I guess I'm once again at a toss up between the 3, I just want a good battery man! I dont want a blown cell on my optima, or a bloated shield on my kinetik or have my D1200 not handle as much as the other two... I need someone to make me feel at ease and make the decision for me ! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif I just need to know how many CCA's the HC1400 has.

The XS will be fine as a starter battery so will the Kinetik so will the Shuriken so will the Deka. All good brands so you can't go wrong with any of them. Find the cheapest and buy it. No reason to make this hard. As far as holding up in zero degree weather that I do not know it gets into the 20's around here at its lowest maybe someone else can chime in on that. My 2 dekas have last me 2 years so far and I bought them used so I know the dekas will last a good min. I will not invest my hard earned money in a yellow top. They are ok batts but are not worth 1/3 the asking price. Just skip them all together..
