Looking for a battery...

The XS will be fine as a starter battery so will the Kinetik so will the Shuriken so will the Deka. All good brands so you can't go wrong with any of them. Find the cheapest and buy it. No reason to make this hard. As far as holding up in zero degree weather that I do not know it gets into the 20's around here at its lowest maybe someone else can chime in on that. My 2 dekas have last me 2 years so far and I bought them used so I know the dekas will last a good min. I will not invest my hard earned money in a yellow top. They are ok batts but are not worth 1/3 the asking price. Just skip them all together..

So ANY are good under the hood? Alot of the Kinetiks have lead to horror stories under the hood one guy with a Jeep had a completely deformed battery after 4 months... Which is the BEST starter battery though, chances are this battery will never see the back of my jeep as I'm going to use the smaller battery I buy upfront as a lonewolf starter, but it needs to handle my 1200w system and -10 to -20 weather.

I guess I'm gonna snatch up a XS Power D3400 from SonicElectronics, thanks for all the help but Nathan suggested the 3400 for my application and a heat shield.
