Yeah, probably tuned too high. Is it a prefab?

Try a new box. My AQ's get low tuned to 40hz.

But how can we all know the problem is with the sub without knowing what your box is tuned to and what you amp settings are.

Yea i thought it may also be a box problem. If i remember from using a calc online and box dimensions its tuned around 35 hz i think. Its not prefab but a shop built it.

Erm... well, the term 'LLT' is simply something made up by one person for reasons unknown to me and has absolutely no meaning outside a handful of Internet forums.

The correct and recognizable term for large bass reflex enclosures is Extended Bass Shelf, or EBS for short. If memory serves, EBS is recognized by world-wide organizations such as AES and IEEE. So, if folks wish to read up and learn the concepts behind the design, they should search for EBS.
