Looking for 6.5 Components under $150

Amp: TXI6006 150x2 @ 4 ohms RMS

I'm assuming, I need a set that can take around 100w RMS per speaker. I'm thinking of having the gain set no more than 1/3rd the way up with no increased db's from the HU or amp.

Budget - $150....IF POSSIBLE. I'll save more if need be, since my current speakers are working fine.

I'm open to all brands, don't really care if they are well-known or not and I'm willing to buy from reputable dealers online. I'm into clarity, something with precise highs, that will last a good long while if treated correctly.

I'm not looking to buy anything from anyone on this forum.

Woofersetc.com has some decent deals. They have some MBQuart for 129. I have heard good things about Phoenix Gold and Polk. CDT isn't bad either.

Thanks guys. I came across these on woofersetc, WoofersEtc.com - CL-S60A - CDT Audio Classic 6.5" 2-Way Component Speakers . They list the rms as 110, but is that 110 for the set or 110 for each side?

Just installed these in the wife's car they sound fantastic for the moneyNew JBL P660C 6-1/2" 540W Car Component Speakers System - eBay (item 360346956873 end time Mar-25-11 10:09:41 PDT) way more midbass then those CDT's.

Those speakers are 2 ohms....way too much amp power for those.

Those speakers are 2 ohms....way too much amp power for those.

I am running 140 a side and they handle with no problem at all.
