Looking for 6 1/2 Speakers under $99 Shipped

Any suggestions? I was looking at sum alpine type r's i saw but cant find them now

looking for sumthing that has bass tho its the most important part...i really need sum bass in my car I have 5 1/4 Infinity's that I just bought but they're really just High Loudspeakers which i didnt realize before I got them

looking for sum suggestions please post links

Anything around that price range thats gonna give me the best bang for my buck

where in LI are you?

Perhaps you can come down to Queens and hear my setup. You can come to your own conclusion.

Right now I have Seas CA18RNX mids.....but getting the Dayton RS soon.

what vehicle do you own? Is it possible to fit oversized 6.5" mids in your doors?

im in suffolk..it would take to long for me to get into queens...

i own an 88 toyota...its in good condition but old....and the speakers would be going in the rear deck using speaker spacers i already own that i had to use on my 5 1/4 infinity's...they'res only about an inch more depth but im sure i could git regular 6 1/2's in they're

I am looking for mids tho...i just got subs and amp the other day gotta get it installed

It took me less than 5 minutes to find and post 3 different pairs of 6.5" speakers for under $99/shipped (excepting the 1st set which went over by exactly a dollar)

Yes but I wanna get sum opinios on the BEST for the Money you know....I bought Infinity's before and dont like them so I'm kinda hesitant about buying them again.....need sumthing with sum bass and was looking for sumone who owns a pair to recommend them how are those Alpines?

The alpines **** IMO.Very sloppy sound imo.They'll sound good to anybody that listens to rap.Of course, people who listen to that wouldn't know true SQ if it bit them in the ***.

definately get the new Dayton RS180 4 ohm version. $65 for the pair and would absolutely destroy any mainstream mids. It has great low end, which is what want.

here you go man. http://forums.caraudio.com/vb/showthread.php?t=140188. you can go to parts express and look at the data for the 8 ohm shielded versions. but the new car versions are the same thing but now they are 4 ohm and debucked. i believe those 4 ohm ones aren't on their site yet.

ok so these are them....can anyone tell me the Depth of them to make sure theyfit in my car?

the mounting depth is C. which is 3". Man i wish i could buy these, so cheap. i barely fit mids that have a moutning depth of 2.8.

Oh and if you have a mounting depth smaller than that, then just add some clay on your baffle and you squeeze out a few mm.
