Looking for 5.25 sub woofers

I have a BMW Z3M Roadster. I'm looking for two 5.25 sub woofers to replace the ones that are in the factory sub woofer location. I tried some Tang Band W5 1138SM but they were to big for the factory sub woofer box. My current setup is an Alpine CDA-105 with a KTP-445 power pack. My component Polk Audio db5251 are setup in the factory location as well. I'm not going a for thumping sub-woofer not that I could anyway. Just something to fill the bottom end.

I found this speaker on Madisound. The speaker is 5.25" with a depth of 2.38" (60.5mm). How well would these work as a sub-woofer? Can someone translate the frequency graph for me? I don't know how to read these yet.

It's going to be hard to replace the factory ones. If the factory subs are still working, pull them out and paint a thin layer of paint on the cone. Use about 3-6 layers of paint. You're going to notice an increase in the low end. I've done this a couple of times and the customers were pretty happy with it. The trade off will will be slightly with efficiency and increase in transient response. But it most cases, it's hard to hear the difference.

9 speakers in the car and 7 dry-rotted. Only the tweeters survived. The subs and the speakers in the kick panel literally disintegrated as I removed them. All that was left was the that little wire at the bottom of the speaker.

I may just give up and put some Polk Audio coax speakers in the sub box and call it good.
