Looking for 2000 watt amp

yes as I used to own 6 of them, they do tend to like 14vlts and run better at 0.5 before imp rise so we will say 1.3-1.5final. I use to run 4 3000dbs and a pair of aq hd315s in 10cubes ported at 35hz. That was intense, but the amps ran a bit warm and the subs for sure dont like more than 2000 at all

everything mainly depends on the price, but I had the best luck with 1500rms in recommended size boxes from DJ. I had a single 15 in 5cubes tuned at 35hz and it was pretty loud amp was american bass xd3000. I like american bass amps, hints the reason I am buying 2 off this forum. The pa amp would be fine just keep the gains down and tune your whole system proper. example turn the deck volume up to your optimal listening then start adjusting your gains on the amp to where your satisfied, normally that wont pass the 3/4 mark, but I like to stay at 1/2.

thanks guys i think i will go with the 3000db, i have heard good things about it and its not too expensive. i think i read a thread about tuning your system and will take my time when doing so. now i just have to upgrade my electrical because i doubt i would get much output with a stock battery and 90 amp alt.

although not power hungry like the ab xd3000 amps, the pa3000 still likes its hefty amount, I would say a solid kinetik 1800 under the hood and perhaps an 1800 in the trunk would for sure give you plenty of power for the time being, but for sure look for an alt upgrade.

i was planning a 200 amp alternator and getting a 2400 under the hood. i dont really want to put a battery in the back because this is in my truck and space is limited.

ive been told it will fit but im gonna double check everything before i order the 2400. but the 2400 and 200 amp alt should be good right?

im glad to hear that i should have enough power because i dont want dimming but if it happens then ill have to add some more power. tommorow im gonna take measurements and see how the 2400 will fit and if so ill send you a pm.
