Looking for 1600W rms

So I've been doing a lot more reading on this forum and others and i have heard some things about amplifiers. Specifically Hifonics amps... Is it true that they are a budget amp and that you can get amps of better quality for only slightly more money? Because if that is the case then I think I should be looking harder for an amp.

I need an amp that will put out 1600W x 1 @ 1 ohm.

Anyone have any suggestions for an amp that will do that for around $200 - $250 and where to find it as well.

i got a bx1500d for sale for 175 if your interested. does 1500 rather than 1600 but it is also alot less that what you are willing to spend.

Ok i'll look you up. anyone have anything to say about the bx1500d? good bad?

And what about an MA audio M1889I amp? i would need a pair to push my 2 subs, but they would come to 200 for both at sale price...

ive owned the bx1500d and ran them to 2 l7's. they had great power output and didnt fail on me. but then, i only ran that setup for 3 months.

do you mind buying used?
