looking at p.a. drivers

so ive made my mind up to go with pro audio drivers in my front doors and kicks. I want a 8" and 6.5" in each door. and probably go with a 6.5 in the kicks. what are some good drivers to look into thats about $100 or less? and by the way i want both size drivers to be by the same company..thanks in advance

Why do you want two different sizes?

Just get 2 8s

i heard a guy setup yesterday tha had a both sizes and was loud and crystal clear, he had fosgate punch pro and was running active. i think that when you two different sizes one drive and fill the void where the other lacks

I like my Rockford pros. I know swift likes his too. Not bad on price, I think I paid $44 dollars each for my 6.5s

I'm running pwx 8" for my midbass. Very clean and a lot of punch. Full door treatments done also

6.5s and 8s are almost identical with the 8 having a bit more low end. You don't need 2 sizes, you want 1

I think the NeoPros sound awesome, and so do the PWXs, but on that kind of a budget, I'm probably gonna be banned for even saying their name, but Pyle really does make a decent PA mid for the price.

Tons of ppl run multiple sized speakers in their vehicles. 8" are louder then 6.5" forsure.

If you can do the 8s, do the 8s. More midbass capabilities by far. 6.5s arent going to sound any better at vocals than an 8, but an 8 sure as hell plays midbass a lot better than a 6.5

It's just like running differnent size subs. Unless you have one as dedicated midbass.

No. The frequency range might differ 10hz.

I'll be getting the Sundown Neopro 8v2's.

My vote goes to them, but for 6.5's the SQ pro's were good for the price. They were loud, but may not be the best sound quality if that is what you're after.

I read multiple times that you shouldn't put sq and pro audio together but I do want something that sound decent
