Looking at large 2 channels

I need to drive 8ohm midwoofers at around 150-200w a piece. I was originally looking at the Crescendo 1600.2 but thats discontinued and can't seem to find a second hand. The RE USX-2500 claims to put out around 150 @ 8ohm but everyone hollers that RE isn't what it used to be and are overrated now. Was also looking at the American Bass SQ-3000 which is rated 300@4 so around 200 @ 8 Id assume? Its cheaper than the RE but Ive never played with AB amps before although I hear they put out good power. Can anybody help with other options or opinions on either of those mentioned amps? The CT Sounds 500.2 will be available soon or, the 125.4 is available now.

The 500.2 should do 250 per at 8Ω and when bridged to two channels, the 125.4 does 250 per. And I'm actually running a set of CT Sounds 8Ω PA mids in my sound board on a 125.4 so I know what it will do on that load.

To be sure, these amps are grossly underrated, as they are rated at 12.8 volts, not 14.4.

I saw those 500.2 and they are perfect, like beyond perfect but just a tad pricier than the other options was hoping to keep it under 400 shipped if at all possible but if my options become exhausted I'll cough up the cash i guess.

No but will it effect anything going bridged? Trying to use these for the midwoofers in a 3-way active. I'm using a P99RS, wouldn't I need an additional set of RCA's from the HU? (I know shamelessly letting my noob show right now but have to learn somehow.)

Looking at ratings those do 200@4? Puts the output a little on the low side I think.

well their rated at 12.2 volts, does a lot more than it says it does, bridged it does 650rms at 4x1

Get urself a ppi 900.4 for around 200 bucks and call it a day

@Nasty08Impala still unclear on bridging 4 channels when I only have 1 set of RCA outs for the midwoofers. Id be open to a 4 channel if I knew how to wire that up.

U could use a splitter they are like 5 bucks..splits 2 sets of rcas down to 1

Then on the amp there is a 2 and 4 channel switch ..pretty simple ..that amp does 450x2 @4 ohm i believe for around 200 bux ..hard to beat if u ask me

Not to my knowledge ..i know several ppl who run that amp bridged ..it puts out lots of power and is a tiny amp
