Looking at 18" Btl

I'm looking into get a new daily pounder for my car.

I've been flip-flopping between systems for awhile and I want a new set up that will keep me held off to where I never have to upgrade for this car again.

I was checking out the 18" Btl and they look very promising.

The problem is that I don't think that I will have enough space for it.

Probably 5 cubes max internally. So two 6" aeros are what I'm leaning torwards.

Would this be enough space?

I want mean lows while keeping some upper bass.

I just heard my first 18" BTL earlier today and I still have a headache it is a crazy sub. It was in a 4-4.5 CF box and the box was real small for that sub but it fockin still hits hard. Get one they are b@d@ss subs.

It was tuned at 35 Hz and it still hit lows and the highs like crazy.

I know it may not be enough, but I don't want to do a crazy upgrade on the electrical system.

BTL is definitlly worth getting. That shit was rediculous loud!!

From what I hear any less than 2k watts and don't get a BTL (especially the newer ones)

Yes, I've heard they are inefficient subs, but reading around I've heard that the Btl gets overall louder and lower than the HDC3.

I am not looking for sq really, just straight up loudness.
