What airspace? Do you want better SQ or more output? What version W3? How much power are you working with? Waht vehicle?

im making a custom box in the side panels of my trunk ...

-acura rsx

-i got 3x w3v1

-up to 1 cu feet

-around same output

-same to more sq but able to hit lows

-400-600ish rms each sub

-around 200$ each sub

if u want 10"s you'll have to go wit the SE's, and with that power i would also go with the SE, especially if you seal them.. they sound wonderfull sealed...

sounds to me u had them in the wrong box...if u was good sq from them ..u need to do sealed 1.25cubes each ...that would have done the trick

or 2 cubes ported tuned to 28hz

i'm sure u was underpowering it as well....u need 500-600watts each to have those subs really saying something

i got a vid of my w3 on 600watts and its been taking it for 4yrs straight

i just blew it becuase i was testing it for a friend of mine and i hooked up 18ga wire and burned the tinsel leads off

Yah, I fed my 1000 rms... Slammed like mad! The dustcap got kina warm so I wired it down to 8 ohms and bout 200 rms, still hit about as hard.

Anyway, w3's are very efficient little subs... Once in the right enclosure theywill do all you need without pushing the envelope. And as 80 says, they can take the heat.

my w3's are kinda ragedy i got them for 20$ each ... 2 have 1 blown voice coil and one is fine i got it off a guy who though they were just crappy 10's ...

but im selling them gunna make some profit and probily go with the SE's sealed .... what cu. feet and rms you think i should put to them ?

i was thinkin of hookin up a orion 1200d to them or should i go with a little more power ?

i have 2 Audiobahn AW1051T's ill sell you for 70 + Shipping...lol. They are loud, how low they will go i dont know. 300w RMS a pice, 12mm Xmax, and CHROME FLAME basket...

but seriosult SE's ar a good choice.
