Hey monkey, I just made it to the point where you mention added wieght. So you will go from 8mpg down to 7mpg

I am trying to save wieght in my VW TDI (50mpg) and have a few leads from a custom yacht maker. They said there are several types of light wieght board from honey combed to resin centers. I have not checking into any of this yet but you should too. It could shave a few pounds off for you anyway.

Im not too worried about the weight. My car drives pretty much just fine as it is... No point in worrying about weight when theres almost half a ton of batteries in the back.

Well all the batteries were wired up, another run of 1/0 power, subs mounted and wired, and 6 Alpha 6s and 4 APT-80 tweets were installed.... And they scream!

If Johnny (hes the dude with the white Astro with 16 12" SSDs... It was discussed in a SBN thread) wasnt down helpin today, not 1/2 of this stuff would have gotten done. I dunno if you're going to read this, but if ya do, thanks alot for everything man!

Ill get pics of the mids/highs and mounted subs later.

Its finished.... Gotta tweak everything a little and touch up some trim pannels and what not, but im very happy with it.

It doesnt play any upper bass at all, but any low bass it slams.

I got a video, here it is. Passanger window down, driver door wide open.

Dunno when its getting metered. And as for the wattage, it depends on the voltage. At 14.4 I should be seeing close to 20,000.
