People say it is louder, but it is car dependent.

I mean, this 15" is A LOT louder than my other 12"s firing back. So we will see I guess.

Yes, but like stated it does all depend on the car. For all we know upfiring port back could be what works best for him. It's just something you have to test.

my car has subs up port back, but its more of a hatch(integra) but still the subs fire right into the hatch glass, and port is to the tailgate, and it sounds fine, better than other ways i tried. Either way- i noticed your box dimensions sounded close to the trunk opening. Did you know if it is a really close fit, you can take off the rubber trunk seal that goes around the opening, usually gives you a coupla inches.

the only thing that makes me nervous is thinking that at any time u can hit a bump and ure sub might hit the trunk lid or back deck.... man that would ****
