Nice Buy!!! I know the JL line is awesome and I alot of amps would have to change a lot of stuff for me to ever consider changing from JL. good news guys...i have been in love with JL for a long time. It was a toss up between the New Memphis Big Belle and these 2 amps...i could get the Memphis for $802.50 out the door brand new, but i think the build quality and overall performance of the JL's are better, so i didnt mind spending the extra cash.....now someone buy the gear in my sig!!!!!

Your a real tard, if you believe that. Just because it's really expensive, doesn't mean that it's the greatest product ever made. I own a JL 1000/1 and a JL 300/4. I only own them because of the required voltage supply and the impedance load options. Phoenix Gold made similar amps, and decided to stop making them for some strange reason. the shop i bought them from only offers store credit. (ultimate audio) and i am honestly thing about taking them back since i havent installed them yet and possibly getting a kicker zx2500.1 or a SX 1250.1 since they are both in the price range i paid. at least they have a 2 year warranty. JL=90 days? WTF???

Fair enough.Though I do not think the difference in damping factor between the D6 and the JL is going to make as much audible difference (if any) as you might think....

ya i highly doubt there'll be any noticable differance in SQ between the 2 amps. if naything the DA Might be alil louder due it being morepower...but SQwise they told you whatever u wanted to hear to buy those amps. i'm affraid to ask what those assclowns charged you for those amps.

dont get me wrong they're nice amps, but of the 3 ultimate audio's in otown, 2 of the 3 shops always have pricks working that that are more knowledgable about selling than they are about the equpiment they are selling or competitions products. but thats just my experience.

which store did u go to? i recall when getting a price quote for insurance on a zx2500.1 from the OBT store, it was outrageous. like 1700 for the amp (which can be found for like 600-700 either on ebay or here). obviously with some wheeling and dealing they'd probly go down to like 1200 (maybe less) for the amp...but thats still way, way too much for that amp......i understand the concept of running a business and marking up products to make a profit....but good god man, ****ing raping people on the price.

everyone new always ahs something so good to say about JL, within their first 20 posts comes a compliment about JL, why is that? veryone that joins in July has something good to say about JL, all JL owners come to this forum I guess.
