why do you say its not active capable it has a "3 band eq and advanced crossover system"

I'm not trying to be near as assinine as this is going to sound, but the reason I say it isn't is because it isn't.
Running active means the ability to bandpass each output and that deck you just bought, just like my 25th Anniversary XXV-01D, has HP filters for the front and rear output (but no complementary LP to go with it to create a bandpass range) and a LP filter for the sub outputs but no ability to HP it as well.

haha im guessing that will work either way im not sure i would switch over to active anyway, but for 130 bucks im down. Plus im sellin my alpine to my friend, so its all good.
