Looingk for a set of 5.25" componets and a set of 6x9s for $300 - Pioneer D-Series?

I've changed my plan to get a pair of reasonably priced 6X9s and 5.25" components.

I was looking at the Pioneer D-Series, specifically the 5.25" TS-D1320C and 6x9 TS-D6902R.

The total should be about $200. Can anyone think of a neutral sounding $200-300 combination that might be better? The Pioneer speakers together cost a little more than $200.

Does anyone know why Crutchfield would say the 6x9 TS-D6902R wouldn't fit the rear deck of my 2004 Hyundai Elantra Sedan?

How about Alpine Type-R speakers? Are they any good? The Alpine SPR-50C and SPR-69?

If you wanna buy new you can shop at Car Audio Stereo - Car Subwoofers - Car Amplifiers and Speakers same kind of stuff Crutch sales but much cheaper!!

Partsexpress.com also has them for a really good price the 6.5 were 129 don't know bout the others though

at sonic you could get the boston acoustic sr50 in front and the sr95 in rear for $334 and it would be a **** nice sounding system. Way better than those pioneer or alpine ones. You will need a amp , is this something you already have?
