Lol...Help a Newbie out....

I am lost with this battery issue...I mean I see all different types of Optima Yellow Tops and Stinger Deep Cycle Batteries.....with all different specs...and I have absolutely no clue on what battery would be best for me spec wise because this is an area that I have absolutely no knowledge of at all....like I said...I'm running two Kicker Solo Baric L7 12's and a Power Acoustik A3000DB amplifier...any battery suggestions?

well, before you buy a battery, i suggest upgrading your alternator. lots of people use at least 200 amp alternators along with yellowtop batteries.

mos def big 3 in 1/0, optima redtop for starting battery, optima yellowtop in the trunk, and a 200 amp alt.

2 L7's and 2500 watts of power require a very good electrical system, if you wanna be poundin, upgrade that electrical

ehh, it might but its even better to have more than you need. and if you do this then if you ever want to upgrade you wont have to do anything besides swap out systems.

I wanted to use 0 guage for this system I have now...but the kid who hooked it up refused to run 0 guage because he said it was too hard to hide lmao...

2 Cheap *** Audiobahns I forget the model number they're only 400 watts rms a piece and a Pioneer 760watt 2 channel amp...I bought the box...the subs..the amp...and the wiring for 100 bucks even...I can't roll around with stock speakers...it drives me nuts...but like you said...only reason I wanted to run 0 guage is because I knew in a month or two I'd be upgrading

I think when I get all my new shit I'll spend the extra money and get it professionally installed because this kid knows what he's doin' and all but I don't want to take any chances with all my new stuff...this kid put a dent in my dash tryin' to put in my new Head Unit...I'm still pissed off...

have you replaced stock speakers yet or are you planning on doing that when you get new subs
