I am just trying to get opinions. I took all the links out of my sig and everything, Iam not trying to promote. I been on several web design forums, however it takes me days and days to get replies from them. With this forum I can get a quick reply so I know what to change in a hurry.

That's because I am....

and that seems obvious. imo - its way too flashy and over-designed. company logos need to be simple and utilize only a few colors to get your idea across. here are some examples;

im sure you can at least recognize and tell me what companies hold half of those logos, if not all of them. a logo is an 'icon' for your buisness that you can put on shirts, hats, letterheads, ect at minimal cost [only a few colors] and get your idea across without extra nonesense, and maintain a professional appearance.

i like to make a play on letters, making somthing with the letters that represent your company. for instance, ascendant audio - two "a" looking objects that resemble mountain-peaks.

i hope you understand what a logo is and does, and use your brain a little more when desiging them. stop using all sorts of stupid filters and layer effects and design somthing simple and CREATIVE. what you made up there is just a few circles that are transparent with some font over it.

back to the drawing board son.

Thank you for that lesson, but I am not going to be using my logo on t-shirts, letterheads etc. I do not want to be a big company, because to tell the truth I do not have the time to be overloaded with work. I do this as a hobby, and to earn just enough to keep the site up and have a few bucks left over. I thought my logo was pretty simple, but I understand what you mean. I think I will stick with this logo for a while, or atleast until I can think of another design.

played around with photoshop a little more, and came out with something that looks pretty simple.

Tell me how I did on this one, I kinda like it. Criticize away, your comments are appreciated.
