Alright, Im building a div page right now. If any of you know anything about builidng pages, you know the two dont get along. It looks fine on my pc in firefox. The only issue is the box not being aligned to the center. So what i need to know is, how do i go about making a page for firefox, so that the page will have an option for both browsers? Also, id like to know if there are any other issues. It should just be like a centered space of tables, and a grey background right now. Some help would be great.

To hell with IE. It's old, outdated, resource consuming, slow, buggy, vulnerable, and easily replacable. It works in Opera. It works in FF. What else do you need?

If it works in Firefox, it'll work in IE. As far as how HTML pages look, Firefox / Mozilla is based more on the standardized w3c (word wide web consortium) specs, while IE is more or less based on the specs but with a lot of non-standard things thrown in. Firefox is strict on its ruleset.

Use Firefox to develop the page (since a page dev'd in firefox looks the same on IE, but not vice versa). Use the Javascript console (tools->js console) to help you debug html & javascript errors. The main key with firefox is not to use " style='field:value'" attributes. Put it in a stylesheet.

What is a "div" page? I know what a

tag is, but I've never heard of a div page.

Thanks sumone.. that helps. Its a type of page that is like flash, but in that it doesnt involve animation. Its like an overlay for a website. In this case, it replaces the defualt tables with whatever you specify. I guess ill do it in firefox now, thanks guys.
