local comp coming up and i need to win

ok i live in a small town called coos bay in oregon.and there is a local comp coming in july and i keep getting told that im going too get beat in spl. my system exists of 2 powerbass extreme 12'' subs an autotek 3000.1 amplifier. my box is a combined chamber slot ported box with 5 cubes external and sense its combined it adds a third of each woofers volume to each woofer. so about 4 cubes per woofer tuned too 35 hertz. this is in a 1991 nissan maxima trunk.and the person im worried about has 4 15'' crystal cmpx2 subs with 2 autotek 2000.1 amps and a slot ported box that looks like a wall but it isnt. its just made too fit in a escort. what can i do too beat that person should i use what i have or should i use 1 18'' sub in a large ported enclosure or what could i do any help appreciat //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

Unless he has a shitty install, you will more then likely lose. I thought PBx's liked bigger boxes, like 3.5 or so each?

Try tuning to the mid 40s with about 90sq in of port. Probably burp in the low 50s to high 40s.

Use only 1 port, and put it on the driver side.

You sure wont be winning any competitions with a box tunned that low. like stated before tune it higher, or should i say much higher.
