Most shop owners know what is needed. And that is how to sell the equipment. Obviously his lines worked enough to get you in there intrested.
You will find many shops to have the knowledge of basic car audio. But will say anything to sell.

Yeah, he may have thought that I was the stupid one, but he did keep a pretty serious look on his face through out the whole thing. There are alot of people that I know who can straight-up lie to you, and keep a straight face. I had a hard time playing stupid, but I guess I will never know.

There are plenty of stupid people where I live, the best brand of subs I seen someone have around here are Kickers, however they are being pushed by a cheapo amp so they aren't living up to their true potential.

What I hate most about people around here is the fact that if they have any type of system at all, whether it be complete junk or somewhat decent, they drive around with the volume all the way up. I hate when people do that, that is why they have been trying to pass the laws that everyone has heard of trying to ban subs bigger than 10" or whatever.

I will leave my volume on my crappy HU at 19 out of 48, plenty loud enough for me, not so loud on the outside of the car. At night I turn it down alot more so I don't get any complaints.

No cause I took my beater there, I don't like bringing the Durango to places like that because of the paint job and people not caring and opening doors into it. But he did ask what I had and when I told him RE he asked me if that was one of those no name companies like Pyle.

I'm too much of an *** to have not told him that the current world record hasn't broken 190dB on the TL sensor which made his statement even more ludicrous than it was standing on its own merits...
