Little wire confusion

I was looking at the wire diagrams in the above post and am a little confused now. I have a SI Mag 12" that is a DVC sub and is 2 Ohm on each coil. The Fosgate diagrams above show how to wire it in 1 Ohm or 4 ohm. I thought I was able to wire it 4 Ohm Bridged, but now sure how now. I need to be able to run 4 Ohm's Bridged or I have the wrong amp! lol

Bridged and mono are basically the same thing. The terms Mono and Bridged are when an amp is in a 1 channel configuration when Left and Right inputs are involved. These terms are not used in regards to how a woofer is wired. Speakers are wired in series or parallel and are then connected to a Stereo or bridged/mono amp.

For your application you want to series the voice coil to acheive a singl 4 ohm load that would be connected to an amplifeir in a "bridged" configuration.

Thanks Bill, Also did you get my last e-mail on the 4 and 8 awg wire needs? With that correction and adjustments to my order will complete it and I can pay. Also how far are you from Dayton?
